Here is the current display that is installed in Chilliwack Library’s display case.  Chilliwack library staff and friends built and painted the barn, silo and banner, and sourced the hay bales.

Thank-you to the Chilliwack Atchelitz Thresherman’s Association who graciously lent us the miniature John Deere tractor.  As well as UFV Agriculture Department provided the 3D anatomically correct farm animals and UFV’s Theatre Department lent the outfit for the farm worker model.

For more information about the Agriculture Centre of Excellence, take a look at the architect’s rendering and read this article in Modern Agriculture written by Associate Professor Tom Baumann.

Come celebrate with cake and tours of the new space, this Friday, April 4th, 2014, in conjunction with the Founding Day celebrations,  on the CEP campus when the new Agriculture Centre of Excellence officially opens!
