The Astrophysical Data System, produced by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, is a
detailed index to astrophysical research reports and data. ADS provides links to arXiv,
publisher's sites and other repositories. Although the database itself is free
to search, we have proxied the database so that students/faculty will be able to
connect to the licensed scholarly journal articles from publishers such as Springer, Elsevier and Wiley.
The
database is useful for astronomy and astrophysics research.
