"A Web Page is Slowing Down Your Browser" problem - RESOLVED

Update: June 4, 2020
This source of this problem has been identified and EBSCO has resolved the issue.

Since last week, users have been having problems using our EBSCO products (Books & DVD's search, Find a Journal search) with Firefox.

"A web page is slowing down your browser" message is appearing and results are extremely slow to load.








If you are having this problem, try the following steps:
  1. In Firefox, click on the three lines in the top right corner.  (Open Menu).
  2. Click on Options.
  3. Click on Privacy and Security
  4. Under "Send websites a “Do Not Track” signal that you don’t want to be tracked", select ALWAYS.
