We have launched a new Demand Driven Acquisition program on the Proquest E-Book Central platform. Records for over 16,000 new titles are now showing up in our Books & DVD's catalogue.
The library will pay a short term loan fee for titles that are viewed once or twice, with titles being purchased on the third use.
The program provides us with access to new titles from approximately 90 academic publishers, including ABC-CLIO, American Chemical Society, Brill, Canadian Science Publishing, Cornell University Press, Elsevier, Guildford, Jessica Kingsley, John Wiley, Palgrave MacMillan, Purdue University Press, Royal Society of Chemistry, Stanford University Press, and the University of Montreal Press.
We have also started an Access-To-Own DDA plan with CRC Press, Duke University Press, Human Kinetics Press, Morgan & Claypool, Sage, and University of Chicago Press. These titles are on the Proquest EBC platform as well.
For questions, contact Patti Wilson at loc. 4277.
