Introducing the Legal Citation Libguide

The new Legal Citation Style LibGuide (https://libguides.ufv.ca/legalcitation) is meant to help students looking to cite legal resources such as legislation, case law, international and Indigenous specific legal resources. This guide features example citations and rules based off the Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation 9th edition (aka The McGill Guide) with in-text and narrative examples given use APA formatting. This guide was created in partnership with UFV Criminology faculty and will be particularly useful for criminology students. If you have any questions about this guide, legal citations, or joint projects with the library (such as creation of new LibGuides) please contact us (https://library.ufv.ca/about-the-library/contact-us/).
