The UFV Libraries will be closed September 3rd-5th for the Labour Day long weekend. The libraries will be open on Tuesday, September 6th, 8:30-4:30. Classes officially begin on Wednesday, September 7th, and we look forward to welcoming every back for the Fall semester. Full library hours are available here.

The Chilliwack and Abbotsford libraries and AskAway will be closed on August 1 for BC Day. And then there are several changes throughout August and into early September.

The UFV Library (both Abbotsford and Chilliwack) will be closed on Friday, July 1st, for Canada Day. AskAway will also be closed.
However, our online resources (e-books, databases, streaming video, and libguides) will
be available to access. Have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

The new Legal Citation Style LibGuide (https://libguides.ufv.ca/legalcitation) is meant to help students looking to cite legal resources such as legislation, case law, international and Indigenous specific legal resources. This guide features example citations and rules based off the Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation 9th edition (aka The McGill Guide) with in-text and narrative examples given use APA formatting. This guide was created in partnership with UFV Criminology faculty and will be particularly useful for criminology students. As today is the last day of exams, the libraries are moving into a brief intersession and then into our summer schedule, starting on May 2nd.
This week the libraries are open 8:30am - 4:30pm Wednesday through Friday and closed both Saturday and Sunday.
Starting on May 2nd, the Chilliwack and Abbotsford Libraries will shift into
summer hours. We will be closed all statutory holidays. Please see below for
the schedule for non-stat days:
