Enjoy the library at home with our digital collections

April 8, 2020 Update

As UFV has moved to online delivery of all courses, we'd like to remind students and faculty of the digital resources you can access from off campus.

How to connect to our resources from home:

  1. Click on the link to the resource you want.
  2. If you are off campus, you will be taken to a login page. Enter your UFV credentials and click submit
  • Students: student number and myUFV password
  • Employees: employee login and network password.

EBooks
We now have hundreds of thousands of ebooks available from a wide variety of academic publishers. All the titles are listed in our Books & DVD's catalogue.
You can limit your search results to ebooks by using the Resource Type limiter in the left hand column.

Look for the Read Online or PDF link.

Online Journals, Magazines, Newspapers
Locate online articles using our Articles & Databases resources.  You can do a broad, multidisclipinary search using our Find Articles box, or choose a subject specific research database.

 If you don't initially see a link to the full text, be sure to check the "Full Text Finder" link as well.


Streaming Video
Our streaming video titles are listed in the Books & DVD's catalogue. You may also wish to browse the major collections we have from:
